Minint 15-ąją tarptautinės meno mugės „ArtVilnius“ sukaktį, pripažinta Florencijos galerija 2024 m. pasirinko ypatingą akcentą – surengti išskirtinę menininkės Birutės Nomedos solo parodą. Tai jau ketvirtasis kartas, kai ši galerija didžiausioje ir reikšmingiausioje Lietuvos meno šventėje pristato jos kūrybą.
Galerija menininkei suteikė visišką kūrybinę laisvę – nuo ekspozicijos architektūros, nuotaikos ir temos iki darbų atrankos. Toks sprendimas tapo ne tik išskirtiniu pasitikėjimo ženklu ir įvertinimu, bet ir atsakingu kūrybiniu įsipareigojimu.
„Šis kvietimas man buvo tarsi dovana ir iššūkis vienu metu. Gavusi visišką laisvę, norėjau sukurti ne tik estetiškai stiprią, bet ir emociškai paveikią erdvę, kurioje žiūrovas galėtų sustoti, pajusti ir įsiklausyti į save. Tikiu, kad meno esmė – kurti tiltus tarp vidaus ir išorės pasaulių“, – sako Birutė Nomeda.
Parodos rezultatais patenkinta tiek galerija, tiek menininkė. Ekspozicija sulaukė didelio lankytojų dėmesio ir palankių meno kritikų įvertinimų, o jos vizualinė atmosfera įsiminė kaip vienas ryškiausių „ArtVilnius’24“ akcentų.

Marking the 15th anniversary of the international art fair ArtVilnius, a renowned gallery from Florence chose to celebrate this milestone in 2024 with a special highlight – a solo exhibition by artist Birutė Nomeda. This is the fourth time the gallery has showcased her work at Lithuania’s largest and most prestigious art event.
The gallery granted the artist complete creative freedom – from the architecture, mood, and theme of the exhibition to the selection of works. This decision was not only an exceptional gesture of trust and recognition but also a significant creative responsibility.
“This invitation felt like both a gift and a challenge. With full freedom, I wanted to create a space that is not only aesthetically strong but also emotionally engaging – a place where visitors can pause, feel, and listen to themselves. I believe the essence of art is to build bridges between our inner and outer worlds,” says Birutė Nomeda.
Both the gallery and the artist were delighted with the results. The exhibition attracted considerable attention from visitors and received positive reviews from art critics, with its visual atmosphere standing out as one of the highlights of ArtVilnius’24.
