‘With the seven works of abstract painting, I have attempted to depict the feelings experienced on the way to forgiveness and reconciliation; when we feel undeservedly hurt and we are unable to understand neither the cause, nor the meaning of our pain; when we feel powerless and abandoned like children, who have lost the love of their parents. The heart of the child is torn by overwhelming and incomprehensible anguish; when the closest people hurt and reject them. Only as adults can we understand our injured hearts and need for the healing power of love, forgiveness, and reconciliation.’
