Exhibition of paintings by Birutė Nomeda Stankūnienė (November 2016)

23 of November 2016 in Vilnius St. Joseph Seminary was opened an exhibition of paintings “Seven Feelings according to Job drama” by artist Birutė Nomeda Stankūnienė. This exhibition is a story by colours and excerpts from Bible about feelings, which we experience during our journey to forgiveness and reconciliation. The exhibition consists of seven abstract paintings, which are accompanied and united to one story by excerpts from Job book from Bible. The cycle „Seven Feelings according to Job drama“ was exhibited more than ten times in churches in Lithuanian cities and settlements as well as in other traditional and nontraditional spaces for art exhibiting. The artist invites art lovers with an assistance of her works to discover their own path to forgiveness and enjoy reconciliation with God.

Artist Birutė Nomeda Stankūnienė was born in 1963. In 1987 she has graduated Kaunas Technological University, in 2009 – Vilnius Art Academy.
