ABOUT THE EXHIBITION „THE RED BLOSSOM OF THE STICK“
I have used the sentence from the poem of Lithuania famous poetess Salomėja Neris to name my personal exhibition.
This exhibition is about a man and a hope. In working process I often find motives and ideas for my pictures being reflected in nature or through the nature. The aim of the paintings was not to talk about the nature but address a human being : joy, sorrow, sadness, will; how we are looking for a spring, (picture “Waiting”), how we enjoy blossoming ( picture “The red blossom of the stick”), how we cope with difficulties (picture “Spring”) etc.
In my opinion we are part of the nature, and the nature inspires me to find and express my self.
